Roger's Story
Roger Edgar was born and raised in Belfast Northern Ireland. After graduating high school, he attended Leicester University in England and lived in Leicester and London until 1998. In March 1998, he moved to NYC with the plan to live ‘abroad' for two years. But soon after his arrival, he knew then that New York was his new home. “I never imagined that I would be this lucky - Joe makes me the happiest man in the world, he truly is my best friend, my partner, and my soulmate."

Joseph's Story
The son of a US Army Sergeant, Joseph Varner was born in Ausgburg, Germany and spent a majority of his childhood on military bases throughout the States and Germany. A native of St. Louis, MO, Joseph moved to NYC in his mid 20's and never looked back. "You know I never thought I'd ever get married. I thought it simply wasn't in the cards for me and I was fine with that until I met Roger and I knew then that I found my life partner, my soulmate and best friend in this life and the next."

People ask all the time..."how did y'all meet?" Well, we met in a bar on the West Side of Manhattan in March of 2013. We exchanged numbers and took our time getting to know each other which included lots of texts and phone calls. We didn't reconnect for our first official date until September of that year and at that time, we both knew instantly that we belonged together forever and always.
